Biostimulators

Biostimulators is a broad term used for a type of filler that stimulates the production of collagen via your own cells. It is not the direct injection of collagen. Biostimulators depend on your own body’s ability to produce collagen.

Skin collagen ensures skin strength and integrity. Collagen levels start declining from the age of 25. This decline is linked to genetic factors, but also to smoking, pollution and sun exposure via UV radiation.
